Asma Sakil’s Sckali Group: Promoting Qatari Women and Brands to the World

Asma Sakil, a Qatari businesswoman, is making a name for herself in the fashion and beauty industry with her thriving brand, Sckali Group. She is passionate about fashion and beauty, which led her to create her first brand, Sckali Design, in 2009. Since then, she has expanded her brand to include Ckali Bags, Argansus, Sckali Beauty, and Sckali Daum.

Asma’s aim is to showcase the potential of Qatari women and introduce Qatari brands that can compete with global brands. Her brand was launched internationally with fashion shows in Paris, London, and Monaco, and it was the first Qatari brand to participate in the Maison de Mode in Paris and the London Fashion Week.

In 2017, Asma took part in the famous New York fashion show and was present at the Cannes Film Festival. Her brand was named the best Qatari brand by the Ministry of Tourism.

Sckali Group has collaborated with numerous brands such as Tiffany & Co. at the Tiffany red carpet in Monaco in 2018, and through The Luxury Network with brands like Lamborghini and Mercedes Benz fashion week in Dubai and London. The brand is available in several international retail outlets such as Galleries Lafayette and Fifty one East in Qatar, with plans to expand in France, Morocco, and London.

Asma’s success has been covered in many media publications locally and regionally, with a focus on the Qatari woman’s potential and capabilities.
